The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Interim Advocacy Manager to join an established and notable third-sector organisation.

The organisation is looking for an experienced Public Affairs/Advocacy Manager who is able to lead and project manage key advocacy plans. In return, our client will offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to gain experience within a fantastic and extremely well-respected organisation.

The role will include:

  • Develop and lead the advocacy strategy;
  • Manage relationships both internally and externally;
  • Identify new partnerships and manage existing relationships;
  • Manage a small team;
  • Represent the organisation and communicate the strategies to stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven track record public affairs or advocacy experience, preferably within a charity;
  • Excellent understanding of UK campaigning environment;
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
