An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Interim Advocacy Manager to join an established and notable third-sector organisation.
The organisation is looking for an experienced Public Affairs/Advocacy Manager who is able to lead and project manage key advocacy plans. In return, our client will offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to gain experience within a fantastic and extremely well-respected organisation.
The role will include:
- Develop and lead the advocacy strategy;
- Manage relationships both internally and externally;
- Identify new partnerships and manage existing relationships;
- Manage a small team;
- Represent the organisation and communicate the strategies to stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven track record public affairs or advocacy experience, preferably within a charity;
- Excellent understanding of UK campaigning environment;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
