An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Advisor (Transport) with a public sector body. The Lead Officer will support general policy development and lead the development and implementation of the Freight & Logistics (F&L) work programme as directed to time and budget.
They provide technical advice for the Freight & Logistics strategy development. Reporting to the Head of Policy & Strategy.
The successful candidate will have senior policy officer experience in transport policy and strategy development within a transport orientated or local authority organisation. The candidate will be experienced in working with transport planning processes and urban policy development and in devising clear consultancy commission briefs. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to balance the needs of a broad range of stakeholders.
