My client is a very highly regarded membership body who represents leading financial services institutions in European markets. We are currently engaged in a search to find a Policy Manager to join the team influencing and shaping policy.
You will assist in establishing and running committees and working groups comprised of subject matter experts appointed by their member firms, and drive cross-industry collaboration around a range of Policy themes.
This post holder will be accountable for taking the lead on developments in two areas. The first is Accounting policy, and the second is Tax Policy. The committees for these two areas analyse and communicate the impact of proposed legislation and engage in regular dialogue with legislators, policymakers and other relevant authorities.
Due to the level of understanding around accounting policy that the post holder will need to develop successful applicants will need to have an Accounting qualification. You will also need to have post-qualified experience in accounting or financial markets, whether in industry, consultancy or a regulatory body.
