The IoD is one of the UK’s leading business lobbying organisations. Its policy, press and parliamentary affairs team represents the IoD’s 34,500 members and advances the case for business in government, Parliament, the media and other influential forums. The IoD campaigns to improve the business environment in the UK, and we are looking for an outstanding graduate to provide support to our programme of government and Parliamentary engagement.
This role will involve, undertaking research, drafting consultation responses, policy development, and supporting the IoD’s wider lobbying activities.
The successful candidate will be highly organised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as an ability to understand complex business issues. They will also have a strong understanding of the workings of Westminster and Whitehall.
