The Role

The Aerospace Policy Adviser plays a key role in representing and supporting the UK’s aerospace. Managing critical policy issues such as the industry’s input into the UK’s Aviation Strategy, climate change and environmental policies, and aviation safety regulations, this role helps to establish aerospace policy priorities and ensures they are supported by a strong evidential base.

The Aerospace Policy Adviser leads our engagement with officials in the Department for Transport and with the Civil Aviation Authority. Working across ADS teams, they will provide data, analysis and advice to member companies on the industrial contribution of UK Aerospace.

The Candidate 

The role requires the candidate to have sound political judgement and diplomacy expertise with a good understanding of domestic and international Aerospace policy.

The successful candidate will have high levels of analytical, presentational and written skills coupled with the ability to creatively approach issues affecting member companies.

With excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication traits, you have a natural ability and willingness to engage multiple stakeholders.

We are seeking a candidate with energy, drive and enthusiasm for the civil aerospace sector, as well as the industrial, business and political environment in which it operates.
