Join the Network

Working closely with the lead of a key division at this influential membership body currently going through a period of sustained growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing policy and promoting the industry in line with the roll out of a new business strategy.

In addition to deputising for the head of the division, you’ll enjoy extensive contact with members, preparing responses to consultation papers and briefings, and monitoring public policy to ensure that members are fully informed on regulatory issues. Providing secretariat support for Committee, you’ll prepare collateral and book speakers, and you’ll enjoy additional input into roundtables and thought leadership events, and attend meetings with business groups, regulators, government officials and politicians, in support of the divisional head and of members.

Experience gained in public policy is essential and you’ll need to demonstrate a keen understanding of the regulatory environment and of financial services coupled with an ability to grasp and interpret complex, technical policy and translate into clear, concise briefings. Strong project management skills are a must and you’ll be skilled at building relations with diverse stakeholders and making representation.

Knowledge of banking and economics would be a plus.
