Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

We are urgently searching for an immediately available Policy professional for a short term contract at a prominent Association.

The role will include policy research, policy analysis, writing high-level briefings for internal and external stakeholders, speech writing, communications assistance, preparation of presentations and content creation (website, blogs etc.).

The ideal candidate, as well as being immediately available, will have a thorough understanding of British politics (national and local), experience of working in a political environment, a breadth of policy knowledge, speech writing and an outstanding written style.
