Join the Network

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) team in a newly created role to support IHPN’s work providing policy and business management support to the Association of Dental Groups (ADG).

The post-holder will develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the policy and regulatory environment in which ADG members operate and distil that understanding into a clear work programme, refreshed annually. A regular channel of communication will be maintained with ADG members to ensure that they understand the dental policy environment and are suitably engaged in responding where appropriate, including through consultations, policy engagement exercises and the media.

Part of the wider IHPN team, the post-holder will ensure that dentistry issues are a key part of industry engagement with politicians, policy makers, regulators and the public.

The successful applicant will build on existing healthcare policy knowledge to develop a highly extensive network of stakeholders across government, regulators and industry and be given the opportunity to develop proactive solutions to pan-industry challenges.

What we do:

IHPN is the representative body for independent sector healthcare providers. Our members deliver a very diverse range of services to NHS and private patients including acute care, primary care, community care, clinical home healthcare, diagnostics and dentistry. It is one of the Networked Organisations of the NHS Confederation, the membership organisation for the whole healthcare sector.

The ADG is a trade association whose members are dental providers and employers using a corporate or group model to serve both private and NHS patients across the UK. It now has 20 members of diverse types and sizes, spread across the UK and has contracted with IHPN for policy and business management support and to be part of the wider UK independent healthcare sector.

12 month fixed-term with possibility of extension (employed by the NHS Confederation).
