Delany & Co is a rapidly growing communications consultancy, providing policy, PR and strategy advice in the fast-moving and disruptive technology space for companies such as Zynga, Uber, Badoo and Matrix.org. We are looking for a Policy and Communications Executive to join our team to work across our expanding global client base.
What’s the job?
- Undertaking PR and policy research;
- Writing briefings, newsletters, reports;
- Executing PR campaigns across all channels;
- Media and political monitoring and analysis;
- Website management.
What kind of person are we looking for?
- Proven PR/public affairs experience in an agency, industry body, in-house, political or similar setting;
- Excellent inter-personal, written, analytical and communication skills;
- Ambitious, eager to learn and able to quickly get to grips with complex and varied topics;
- Able to think strategically and creatively;
- Technologically literate;
- Organised, thorough and precise;
- Self-motivated and trustworthy – this position is not office-based so the ability to get your work done without your boss being in the same room as you is essential;
- Knowledge/experience of the technology sector is desirable but not essential, although enthusiasm for the sector is a must;
- Languages desirable.
