Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The NCC is the UK trade body for the tourer, motorhome, caravan holiday home and park home industries. We are a not-for-profit organisation with over 800 outlets in membership spanning the entire industry supply chain; manufacturers, dealerships, holiday and residential park operators and specialist providers.

Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced policy and government relations adviser to join our organisation, which has a strong track record in delivering lobbying success on behalf of its membership. 

As an adviser to the Directorate you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic policy development across a broad range of issues, including regulatory reform and consumer issues;
  • Building strong business relationships with government and regulatory body policymakers;
  • Creating effective lobbying strategies on all issues affecting the sector in Westminster, devolved governments throughout the UK, and in Europe;
  • Providing support to the Directorate, including administration and secretariat support to a number of NCC Strategic Policy Committees.

The ideal candidate will be confident engaging and influencing at senior levels, both in the UK and Europe.

To be considered, candidates will:

  • Be a first class communicator with exceptional writing and presentation skills;
  • Be a natural networker who can build strong links with policymakers at all levels;
  • Be a strategic thinker with an evidence-based approach to policy making;
  • Have a significant number of years of proven policy/government relations background in a complex environment/trade association.

This position is based in North Hampshire and will involve some travel across the UK.
A remuneration package of between £50-60,000 is available.
