A newly created role to develop and deliver a proactive policy communications strategy aimed at raising our client's visibility and supporting the organisation’s position as a centre of knowledge and expertise in the education sector. The role will identify and provide support for education policy initiatives, focusing on our client's key areas of expertise and with particular focus on generating content.
You will:
- Develop and deliver public response and profile relating to policy developments;
- Contribute to our client's visibility and impact objectives through timely content creation for all communications channels;
- Provide timely and appropriate internal briefings to support key staff and Senior Management Team;
- Develop relationships with key external stakeholders (think tanks, media, government comms teams, Special Advisers) with a view to identifying future visibility and impact opportunities;
- Attend relevant policy related events and report back on insights. Where relevant and required, represent our client at roundtables and other events, and carry out speaking engagements;
- Write regular, concise and relevant policy updates targeted at our school audience;
- Develop new policy communications strategy and comprehensive tactical plan with associated budget costs.
