A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Policy Manager (regulatory) with a membership association.

You will:

  • Provide accurate, well researched and clearly expressed written and oral advice;
  • Produce accurate and concisely drafted documents, briefing papers, internal reports and plans;
  • Draft accurate and timely complex/difficult correspondence and briefing materials for the President, other office holders, the Chief Executive and other senior managers and departments;
  • Produce clear, concise and accurate oral and written reports on regulatory matters to Council and internal committees, boards and groups;
  • Actively demonstrate a solutions-focussed awareness and understanding of major issues affecting the profession, the organisation's business objectives and priorities and corporate compliance issues;
  • Demonstrate a good commercial awareness and understanding of the profession, the main participants in the market, firms operating models and of the pressures on firms in the current economic environment.

You will have:

  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills, and a high level of attention to detail;
  • Experience of managing a small team;
  • Policy development experience;
  • Very good negotiation and both oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to influence others, command respect and create a good first impression;
  • Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
