Join the PubAffairs Network

Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Do you combine a top policy mind with political interest and experience and the ability and passion to communicate a cause? With health high on the Scottish political agenda, this is a chance to be where the policy action is.

The Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists is the professional body for the UK’s 15,000 speech & language therapists. The Policy & Public Affairs team handles government policy, liaison with Parliaments and Governments, and grassroots campaigning across all four nations of the UK.

The Policy Officer (part time, 14 hours per week) will need to be flexible to undertake policy work in health, education and justice, supporting our strong public affairs profile with the Scottish Parliament and Government. You’ll also be liaising with politicians and their offices direct, and will need to be able to monitor and filter the net and other information sources.
