Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Programme Manager who will oversee, plan and organise all the activities and functions of the Institute’s programmes funded with Strategic Partners. The Programme Manager will coordinate and support multi-disciplinary teams of researchers within project teams of varying sizes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing major AI research, training and knowledge exchange programme initiatives;
  • Developing powerful case studies, highlighting successful outputs and outcomes;
  • Delivering events, including research collaboration meetings, road-mapping workshops and seminars;
  • Routinely monitoring all activities, review project risks, issues and progress, taking action as necessary;
  • Providing relevant advice and guidance to Institute’s senior executive team, Institute Trustees and existing Strategic Partners.

Essential skills:

  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills combined with a strong attention to detail;
  • Experience of translating research and policy requirements into a defined project;
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in identifying areas for change or development and to manage competing demands and pressures;
  • Previous experience of liaising with external bodies including industry;
  • Experience of developing and managing large multi-disciplinary projects, involving external and internal partners;
  • Liaising with external bodies including industry, government and/or NGOs.
