The Taskforce is a group of 30 members, including charities, royal colleges, professional bodies and patients, which have produced a five-year plan for improving lung health outcomes.

You’ll be joining a growing policy and public affairs team and working alongside multiple stakeholders to ensure that the BLF provides an efficient, pro-active secretariat to the Taskforce as it begins to implement the recommendations in its five-year plan.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with groups of stakeholders, building and managing productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, and effective diary, meeting and event organisation. You will be responsible for managing relationships and communications with the Taskforce, the Taskforce Industries Forum and the Taskforce working groups.

An excellent written and verbal communicator, you should be pro-active, organised and reliable, able to manage your own time and workload in order to meet multiple deadlines. An understanding of the political and policy environment around UK healthcare, structures and processes would be an advantage.

If this sounds like you and you’re interested in leading the BLF’s secretariat work on this flagship project, we’d love to hear from you.

As well as a competitive salary you can enjoy a range of competitive benefits including our cycle-to-work scheme, interest-free annual season Travelcard loan, 30 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), pension scheme and much more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an organisation committed to supporting everyone whose lives are changed by lung disease.
