Great Britain’s gambling industry is in a constant state of flux, fuelled by shifting consumer behaviour and the rapid growth of technology. Within this uniquely challenging and evolving environment, the Gambling Commission is responsible for licensing and regulating the National Lottery. Our aim is to protect the integrity of the Lottery, safeguard players and maximise funds to good causes. Now, as we prepare for the fourth licence competition to run the National Lottery, we need you to play a key role in this critical process.
You’ll do that by leading an assessment of the wide range of market factors and policy questions that we need to take into account. With the support of internal specialists and external expertise, you’ll work across a variety of disciplines - from market assessment and procurement to consumer insight and market economics - as you draw the emerging evidence together into central themes and deliverables.
While we don’t expect you to be expert in all of the subject areas you will cover, you will definitely need proven experience of project delivery gained. You should also be a strong communicator who can build sound working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. On top of that, you’ll bring the ability to understand complex issues, creatively source evidence and analyse findings to produce concise and insightful reports.
Currently embarking on a two-year change programme as we adapt and develop our approach to the evolving needs of consumers and the industry, it’s an exciting time to join the Commission. So bring us your talents – and we’ll bring you the support you need to achieve your professional goals.
