Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Role

We are currently recruiting for a Public Affairs Advisor, working within our Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs team to support our public affairs strategy through a professional programme of activity, communications and relationship building. 

As someone with a passion for politics and political issues, you will advise colleagues on emerging issues, recommending policy to mitigate any reputational risk, and provide the team with intelligence on policy developments through weekly summaries. 

You will identify and network with key external stakeholders, influencers and decision makers, making sure that all contact is recorded within our CRM system and produce regular stakeholder newsletters. You will also organise round table events, prioritise our responses to policy consultations, and manage the public affairs budget and agency relationship.
