The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

A Public Affairs & Campaigns Officer is being sought by an organisation that leads the charge for a better healthcare sector in the UK. This organisation is a voice for healthcare professionals and is known for a successful pro-active approach to its public affairs and campaigning activity with some notable, high profile wins.

As the Public Affairs & Campaigns Officer you will be responsible for leading on a pro-active programme of campaigning and influencing activity focused on Westminster and Whitehall. You will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of policy issues whilst working across the organisation to ensure consistent messaging.

This is a high energy, busy role that requires a well-trained political antenna and strong communication and influencing skills. 

To be considered, candidates are required to demonstrate the following:

  • A strong academic background to degree-level or equivalent;
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering successful, high-impact campaigns that have influenced different audiences which will include the UK Government, regulators and other organisations;
  • You will ideally have a background in public affairs and campaigns in the healthcare sector (charity, professional body, consultancy);
  • A good understanding of the UK political environment;
  • Strong communication skills with evidence of dealing with senior stakeholders.
