My client, a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation that is rapidly becoming a thought leader in its field, is looking to recruit a Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Executive to promote and enhance the reputation of our client with key policymakers in Westminster and Whitehall and relevant EU institutions.

The post holder will be tasked with supporting the Head of Corporate Communications in the development and delivery of the corporate communications strategy. They will also be responsible with forging relations with diverse stakeholders e.g. MPs, civil servants, consumer bodies, financial services firms, trade associations, legislators and regulators (in devolved nations, UK and Europe), partner organisations, industry commentators and other opinion formers.

It is essential that the successful candidate possesses the following experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the workings of Westminster, devolved Parliaments and EU institutions;
  • Experience in communications activity with policymakers and civil servants;
  • Experience of working within the third sector or financial services landscape;
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, with expertise in influencing senior level stakeholders;
  • Expertise in developing and delivering successful corporate engagement strategies and plans;
  • Proven ability to deal effectively with high profile stakeholders;
  • Strong networking and presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
