Our client is an organisation that are at the heart of the political debate within their sector and enjoy a high and positive profile.
They are currently looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join their team and drive forward a proactive, industry leading PA and stakeholder engagement programme. The successful applicant will work closely with the Managing Director and the Executive Team and will be an integral part of the wider UK communications team.
Your role will include:
- Design and deliver an effective public affairs programme at both a national and local level that will continue to enhance and raise the profile of the organisation;
- Identify new stakeholder opportunities at both a local and national level and develop appropriate relationships;
- Plan and lead key campaigns;
- Provide political intelligence throughout the organisation.
You will have:
- A significant background in policy and public affairs as well as stakeholder management;
- Ideally some experience of the transport sector;
- Exemplary communication skills – both written and oral;
- Strong networks and relationship building skills.
