Are you eager to use your public affairs skills within one of the most high-profile and transformational projects in a generation

Specifically, as Public Affairs Manager, you will deliver public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies consistent with the wider corporate affairs programme. You’ll be responsible for delivering a programme of engagement with key external stakeholders as well as developing relationships with internal stakeholders to generate support for public affairs activities.

For this key role, you will possess:

  • Track record within a public/corporate affairs environment with multiple stakeholders – preferably within a large-scale infrastructure project;
  • Understanding of the most effective methods of engaging with politicians at a national and local level, and building political support through engagement with wider audiences;
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK Parliament processes, and experience influencing Members of Parliament;
  • Proven in crisis management.

As well as strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, you will be confident and proactive in relationship building.
