Join the Network

Our client, a local authority based in London, is looking for experienced Public Affairs Manager to join their team to drive forward a proactive and complex public affairs campaign on a major infrastructure project.

This is initially a fixed-term contract with the potential to progress to a permanent position.

Your role will include:

  • Delivering an effective public affairs campaign that raises awareness and support of local issues;
  • Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across Westminster, Whitehall and broader third parties;
  • Identifying media opportunities and threats;
  • Line management responsibilities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of designing and carrying out thoughtful, powerful public affairs campaigns;
  • Extensive knowledge of the working of Government and Parliament;
  • Experience of selling in complex stories to the media;
  • Personal resilience and ability to deal with political sensitive topics given the nature of the role.
