A great opportunity to join our regional campaigns team as Regional Campaigns Officer and lead our work to increase the involvement of blind and partially sighted people in RNIB’s campaigning in the South East region and expand their campaigning capacity and skills.
RNIB is passionate about tackling the discrimination and social exclusion faced by blind and partially sighted people. We seek radical change in policy and provision across eye health and social care, access to information and culture, incomes, benefits and employment.
To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator (both verbally and in writing) and will have experience of local and regional campaigning, working with service users, campaigners and volunteers.
You will also possess the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of policy-makers and service providers. Experience of delivering training would also be an advantage.
Hours: 36 per week.
