We are currently working with one of the UK's best-loved, innovative consumer brands who are recruiting for 2 Regulatory Affairs Executives to provide regulatory guidance to the business whilst managing its relationship with the industry regulator.

This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative business that is also a champion good causes. The Regulatory Affairs Executives will work in a close-knit team that ensure the business is complying with the regulatory requirements of the industry. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with the regulator, building an effective working relationship with regulatory officials and escalating issues and queries where appropriate;
  • Leading regulatory engagement on specific commercial projects, drafting proposals and submissions in support of strategic objectives;
  • Providing counsel to the business on licensing, compliance and other regulatory matters;
  • Monitoring the regulatory environment to strengthen understanding of, and adherence to, the regulatory framework.

Required knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Strong experience of working in an industry regulator or within a regulated business (utilities, communications, financial services etc.) in either a regulatory policy development or technical public policy development capacity;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effectively with technical information and develop reasoned analysis and positions;
  • Attention to detail, particularly whilst working to tight deadlines;
  • The intellectual agility to develop persuasive arguments and the communication skills to deliver these both orally, and in writing, with confidence.

The company HQ is based in Watford where this position will be based. However, there is an option to work from their London offices up to 2 days per week.
