A leading recognisable brand is currently seeking a Regulatory Engagement and Influencing Manager to engage with regulatory authorities to ensure the best possible outcomes for the business.

Occupying a monopoly in the industry, the company is heavily regulated and so needs to ensure that regulatory affairs activity and engagement is fair and proportional. They are now seeking an individual to join the regulatory affairs function and take the lead on engaging with regulatory authorities whilst working with the business to ensure their ambitious product pipeline and growth plans are delivered.

This is a high level, strategic role where you will build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to gain consensus and influence positive outcomes for the business, engaging also with policy and political stakeholders as necessary.

Requirements

Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • An extensive track record from within a commercial environment influencing policy and/or regulatory outcomes;
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with authority and credibility;
  • Demonstrable experience of being a ‘brand enabler’ from working within a corporate environment to ensure business growth through positive regulatory outcomes;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information in an easily understandable manner to non-technical audiences.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-known business during an exciting period of growth.
