Our client is one of the UK's leading public affairs and communications agencies. We are currently engaged with them on finding an enthusiastic self-starter to join their London property practice. The successful applicant will be a determined individual with an interest in politics and regeneration.
We are looking for a candidate capable of undertaking the following tasks:
- Research local communities including councillors, residents associations and local businesses;
- Organisation of public exhibitions;
- Monitoring of print media, social media and local blogs;
- Undertake survey activity with residents, businesses and stakeholders in support of projects;
- Help the team to engage in face-to-face contact with councillors, residents and local businesses on sensitive projects.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate written presentation skills and attention to detail.
This position is particularly suited to a candidate with experience in the property or public affairs sectors, in a party political role or local campaigning.
Our clients work is mostly project-based and they operate in a very competitive industry so candidates should be willing to get stuck in on a wide range of work from day one. A good work ethic and ability to work constructively with colleagues are therefore essential.
