In uncertain times, investors rely on world-class advice to anticipate the risks and opportunities of rapidly changing markets. Our client has a rare opening for a Senior Advisor to join their network of consultants providing political and economic insight into EU policy and regulatory changes. Drawing on expertise from across government, central banking, industry and academia you will be expected to operate with confidence at a high level. The position is not full-time but represents a senior level freelance consulting opportunity.
The ideal candidate will need:
- Significant experience in public policy, evidence based research and a background in EU affairs;
- A track record of success in providing clients with strategic counsel and delivering in-depth analysis of complex issues;
- Proven experience in developing effective external relationships and ideally you will already have an established network of contacts who understand the workings of the European Commission and EU process;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluent English and either French or German to a high standard;
- Educated to Masters level or with equivalent experience.
In return our client is offering a competitive package. Hours and location are flexible, though you will be expected to be in Brussels for at least one week a month.
