I am currently recruiting for a Senior Policy Adviser with financial services business. You will:

  • Lead and independently managing appropriately-sized policy workstreams as directed by the Director, Regulatory Engagement and Policy, or Senior Policy Manager. Developing policy proposals, and taking them through internal and external processes;
  • Researching and analysing industry developments and external regulatory policy developments;
  • Supporting the Regulatory Engagement & Policy Directorate on complex workstreams, and in preparing for meetings, consultations or other stakeholder events;
  • Fostering a highly effective interface with other directorates, supporting them on policy workstreams, and ensuring they are kept.

You will have experience of:

  • Strategic analysis, and policy development and implementation;
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders, ideally from within financial services, the payments industry, or other regulated markets;
  • Leading and delivering workstreams, with specific focus on policy development;
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to take the lead on a diverse set of projects and work streams.
