Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The Senior Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Manager will play a key role within the organisation in relation to the delivery of its policy and influencing work programme in a number of areas and they will be developing content and managing some high-profile projects. 

As the Senior Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Manager you will take a lead in supporting the business to deliver its portfolio of work on the shifting landscape and the transition in the health landscape to more integrated systems of health and care delivery. 

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Delivery, deputising where necessary, the Senior Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Manager will ensure the organisation and its members has the policy support it requires.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop relationships with the following stakeholders on a day to day basis:  

  • Policy leads at national bodies – NHS England, NHS Improvement Department of Health, Royal Colleges, professional bodies, Care Quality Commission and Local Government Association;
  • Policy leads at the health think tanks;
  • External contractors and suppliers contributing to policy projects and activities;
  • Policy and public affairs leads at the NHS Confederation.
