A fantastic 6 month fixed term contract has arisen for a Senior Policy Manager with a regulator.
You will:
- Lead on key retail markets policy project;
- Liaise with HMT on funding. This will involve finalising and refining the business plan and discussing and agreeing funding with HMT;
- Manage stakeholder relationships including with consultants, consumer organisations, Government departments (e.g. BEIS, CMA, ICO, HMT), and companies involved in the energy and other sectors that have an interest in using the database data to reduce consumer detriment.
You will have:
- Strong policy development skills;
- Experience of economic regulation (desirable);
- Experience of thinking innovatively to find solutions to delivery / policy issues;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent team working skills; ability to build strong relationships both within the team and across the division;
- Ability to manage consultants and influence stakeholder relationships.
