A leading international trade association are currently looking for a Senior Public Affairs & Campaigns Adviser for a 9 month contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the development of policy briefing materials for political meetings;
- Provide counsel to the board on political and economic developments;
- Liaise with policy teams to identify content for messaging purposes;
- Coordinate activity across the organisation to ensure there is consistency in the approach to the external policy influencing strategy.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent;
- A strong understanding and experience of the working of Westminster and Whitehall (either from working in Parliament or other political environment);
- Demonstrable understanding of the policy development process;
- Excellent communications skills (oral and written) with the ability to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.
