A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Public Affairs Manager with a major bank.

You will focus on:

  • Providing political intelligence and counsel on national and constituency level political developments;
  • Facilitating meetings with Ministers & Whitehall teams [and their Shadows], as well as with backbench MPs and Peers;
  • Providing a political perspective to help develop our thought leadership, engagement on public policy issues and to inform briefings;
  • Leading the Group’s announcements across political partners and responding to requests for information from government or select committees;
  • Developing new ideas for the political engagement strategy supporting the helping Britain prosper plan.

You will have:

  • Recent experience in Westminster and Whitehall, a deep political network and a strong understanding of political processes;
  • Strong links into the current government administration. This could be as a Special Advisor, political journalist or other Government Affairs professional.
