As Senior Regulatory Affairs Advisor at a FTSE Business you will be responsible to the Head of Regulation, working as part of the Regulatory team, taking individual responsibility for economic regulation, as well as working on a wide range of other regulatory issues.

You will develop positions at a wide range of regulated entities across Europe, including entities regulated by the UK regulator and will represent the organisations views to regulators, governments and the EU.

The role is very likely to involve work on the wider regulation and public policy issues the team covers. You will also take on projects and ad hoc work as assigned and appropriate.

Our client is looking for a candidate with:

  • A proven track record of working on public policy issues;
  • A good understanding of economics and its application to government/regulatory policy;
  • Experience of working with economic regulators;
  • Experience of dealing with the private sector;
  • European Languages an advantage;
  • Experience of presenting positions to wider audiences;
  • The ability to develop constructive relationships with a range of organisations.
