I am recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Liaison Manager with a bank. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team communicates effectively with our regulators, that we meet stakeholders’ expectations and deliverables, and for providing strategic direction and leadership to the team. You and your team will co-ordinate responses to regulatory requests and produce internal reporting on regulatory engagement, highlighting the potential impact on the bank’s future strategy. You will support senior management in their interactions with regulators. You will be able to influence, and build relationships with, a range of stakeholders from within Risk and the wider Business, including senior management, Board, and Board Executive Committee members.

You will help the team to manage the bank’s relationship with its key Conduct regulators including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Payment Services Regulator (PSR) and the Lending Standards Board (LSB).

You will have:

  • A broad knowledge of regulation, preferably with experience at a bank or at one of our regulators;
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience of leading high performing teams;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to build strong relationships at all levels of the bank;
  • Skilled communicator;
  • Able to manage a challenging workload.
