The Role

  • We are looking for someone with significant experience working in similar or allied design, planning or communications environments.
  • You will be passionate about involving communities in regeneration, strategic placemaking and political impact. You should enjoy working at a community level in often challenging environments to explain planning and regeneration benefits and understand the concerns and issues of local stakeholders.

Job Details

  • Manage, coordinate and deliver programmes of public consultation – including public exhibitions, workshops and resident engagement activities;
  • Support proactive engagement activities with local stakeholders and residents and community groups – including maintaining stakeholder relationships and managing project communications;
  • Represent the company and clients at meetings and public events alongside senior colleagues;
  • Be adept at copywriting, collating briefing notes and stakeholder research – including drafting of consultation materials such as letters, newsletters and exhibition content;
  • Monitor project based media activity and local issues;
  • Track, analyse and report on consultation activities and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, working as part of a larger team that consist of architects, local authorities, developers and various other practitioners related to development and regeneration.

Added value

  • Knowledge of regeneration issues and relevant policy;
  • Urban design / planning experience or graphic capability.
