The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager with a first class NHS body.

You will:

  • Support the Senior Stakeholder Lead (NHS) to design and deliver the sector involvement programme aligned to ensuring it remains relevant and focused on key strategic priorities;
  • Proactively manage a stakeholder engagement plan;
  • Represent the orgnaisation at events by delivering speeches and presentations, participating in discussions and explaining the work of the directorate;
  • Contribute to the development of engaging and accessible content used to deliver the sector involvement programme, ensuring it remains relevant and up to date;
  • Contribute to the work of project teams undertaking studies, including by developing stakeholder engagement plans and working with the project team to deliver them.

The Successful Applicant will:

  • Have substantial experience working with health sector stakeholders and other experts gained through an operational, policy or public affairs focused environment;
  • Be a confident and effective communicator, with strong presenting and drafting skills;
  • Have the ability to build credibility and influence senior audiences on complex issues;
  • Have an effective collaborative style of working and track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Posess the ability to employ broad perspective on internal and external issues that may have organisational impact;
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to carry out workflow planning and resourcing with successful track record of project management.
