A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stakeholder Manager with the Bank of England.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Head of Stakeholder Engagement, manages engagement with key stakeholder groups internally, and externally – for example with existing CHAPs/retail scheme participants, payment retail schemes, future user groups, national and regulatory payment bodies and other parties. This includes creation of presentation materials, and delivering programme updates to these groups;
  • Delivery of activities outlined in the stakeholder engagement plan, in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy;
  • Further develop the engagement plan, and regular tracking against progress;
  • Manage the programme stakeholder forums, including the External Advisory Body, and working groups, including developing and maintaining terms of reference and aligning with programme governance;
  • Create regular stakeholder communications, including industry wide newsletters;
  • Prepare and manage key events, roundtables and forum logistics including developing agendas, engagement schedules, arranges secretariat support and production of reports;
  • Develop assurance approach to monitor industry planning and readiness, take appropriate action in response to any issues identified.

You will have:

  • Experience of managing engagement with cross-industry stakeholder groups (cohort referred to above – desirable) and statutory bodies on major high profile public sector or infrastructure projects;
  • Experience in delivering stakeholder engagement plans as well as associated contact/relationship management processes;
  • Understanding and familiarity of large scale transformational change delivery;
  • Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly, and uses personal initiative;
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team player;
  • Strong project management and people management skills;
  • Appreciation of the political environment;
  • High degree of accuracy in executing work;
  • Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines.
