Curtin&Co, a public affairs consultancy specialising in planning and infrastructure, is looking for a high calibre Account Executive to join our office.
We are especially keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate excellent research skills with an understanding of politics and local government. Knowledge of housing and planning issues is preferred but not essential.
The role requires having:
- Degree-level (or equivalent) education, preferably in politics or related humanities;
- Excellent social and communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent writing and analytical skills;
- Capability of multi-tasking;
- First-class organisational skills;
- A passion for politics;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
Duties will include:
- In depth political research and analysis - most importantly in drafting comprehensive but concise research papers;
- Detailed monitoring of developments on housing and planning at UK and Devolved Government level;
- Producing briefings;
- Monitoring all forms of media;
- Monitoring Local Government activities;
- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of client work across a range of accounts;
- Servicing and supporting consultants regularly with specifically processed information, and with ad-hoc requests and advice;
