Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

As a member of the senior leadership team in a key business unit of this global corporate, this is a pivotal role, leading a team in promoting and protecting the brand’s reputation across the UK and leading the development of external and internal communications programmes that enhance the quality and depth of stakeholder relationships nationally, media, policy makers, regulators, NGOs and industry included. Providing strategic counsel and making clear recommendations to senior colleagues across the business, you’ll work with peers globally to ensure aligned, consistent messaging, identifying and mitigating potential reputational risks and managing response in crisis situations.

Experience gained in corporate affairs, with expertise in both public affairs and PR is essential, and you’ll demonstrate keen judgement and strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. This is a proactive, influential and multi-faceted role which requires energy, drive and exceptional leadership coupled with an ability to assimilate complex issues and manage competing priorities.  Experience gained in a consumer-facing business would be advantageous although other sectors could be considered.
