Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

A newly created role with a prestigious membership body with ambitious plans for growth, central to which is a recently restructured and revitalised communications function. As such, the need is for a highly proactive, innovative external affairs professional to take ownership of external affairs and bring together media relations, campaigns, policy and public affairs while leading and mentoring a talented team. Significant experience of delivering external affairs strategies for complex organisations is essential and you'll be politically astute and media savvy, skilled in assimilating complex issues and distilling into clear messaging for diverse stakeholders, creating real impact.

Collegiate and collaborative in your approach, you’ll bring a track record in managing and motivating a cross-functional team and providing senior level counsel, with the confidence and impact to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Central London offices with hybrid home/office working.
