We are looking for a new Policy and Public Affairs Officer to raise awareness of lung conditions
with politicians and civil servants and shape public policy.

One person in five in the UK is affected by lung disease. As the only UK charity for people affected by all lung and respiratory diseases – from mild asthma through to lung cancer – the Asthma UK - British Lung Foundation is here for every one of them. We provide support, fund vital research, and campaign for better prevention, treatment and care.

responsible for engaging with politicians, responding to consultations and looking for
opportunities to raise awareness of the challenges that people living with lung conditions face.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Northern Ireland Assembly, and of
developing policies and campaigns. You will be assertive, creative and a good self-motivator. You
