I am recruiting a Regulatory Manager and Regulatory Analyst for an energy business in London.

You will:

  • Pro-active horizon scanning of the regulatory landscape to identify opportunities for change;
  • Preparation of a two-year forward plan of regulatory change for the area which the post holder provides regulatory business partner support for;
  • Co-ordination and delivery of the regulatory changes identified in the forward plan;
  • Preparation of regulatory consultation documents as required;
  • Building relationships with key regulatory stakeholders;
  • Regular teach ins / lunch and learns on the organisations regulatory obligations to boost organisational knowledge.

You will have:

  • Strong self-leadership – able to set a clear forward workplan for themselves and others;
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to take a complex topic and explain it in simple terms for internal and external audiences;
  • Strong track record of preparing complex / regulatory policy and reports;
  • Solutions focussed – acting as an enabler within the organisation;
  • Ability to work with multiple and complex sources of data and draw out key insights;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders – working across boundaries to deliver outcomes;
  • Ability to influence and persuade others of a particular position or viewpoint;
  • Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting at senior level meetings;
  • Experience of leading and managing individuals or small teams.
