A pivotal role with a highly respected, international consultancy, you’ll be the main point of contact for key financial services clients for whom you’ll develop EU policy and advocacy programmes; monitor, track and analyse the EU legislative agenda; provide intelligence and counsel on issues and legislation that may impact their business; and identify and build relations with stakeholders. Experience in financial services is essential long with keen understanding of the EU legislative and policy landscape, and you’ll point to a track record of building and maintaining relations with officials and stakeholders in Brussels. As ever, strong writing and presentation skills are essential and you’ll be adept at assimilating complex issues and translating into accessible briefs, advising at senior level and providing mentoring and support to more junior members of the team.
