As talk turns from “who’s going to win the Premier League?” to “how many points are Chelsea going to win it by?”, at least the PubAffairs Fantasy Football League is proving to be more competitive at the top.

Edinburgh based practitioner Neil Cardwell (PR Executive, Digby Brown) overtakes last month’s leader Nicholas Vaughan (Vice President, Teneo Strategy) at the top of the table. Similarly good months for Andrew Brown (Senior Account Manager, MHP Communications), Alec Zetter (Communications Officer, PubAffairs) and Rebecca Goshawk (Account Manager, Bellenden) see them complete the top five at the month’s end.

October Points Table:

Andrew Brown’s impressive few weeks lands him the Manager of the Month accolade for October. His total of 207 points helped him to climb from outside of the top ten to second overall. His team features the free scoring front line of Pellé, Diego Costa and Agüero, ably supported by Di María, Fábregas and Sigurdsson.

There is still time to join the league, simply create an account at Fantasy Premier League and join the league using code 904357-225761. When registering, please send your team details along with your job title and organisation to alec@pubaffairs.co.uk.
