An integrated communications firm specialising in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications are in search of an experienced Account Director to join their successful Public Affairs team.

With deep expertise across a range of sectors including financial services, technology and healthcare they represent some of the world's largest global corporates as clients, together with governments, regulators, trade bodies, NGOs and private clients.

Role requirements:

  • Providing clients with strategic and tactical advice on day to day public affairs engagement, as well as campaign planning and development;
  • Using practical and intuitive understanding of Westminster, parliamentarians and the policy process, whilst developing a strong awareness of clients objectives and issues;
  • You will be able to add ideas in a creative and social environment that values hard work and good sense;
  • Use appropriate skills to provide our clients advice on communications, day to day media engagement, liaise with journalists and run integrated PA and communications campaigns.

Profile and Skill Set Required:

  • You are a skilled, focused and ambitious public affairs communications practitioner with an in depth knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall;
  • You will have strong commercial acumen and demonstrable team management capability;
  • You will understand how the media affects politics and vice-versa;
  • Good understanding of and familiarity with the political community across the UK;
  • Self-confident, hard-working and competent when dealing with Senior Management;
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, potential clients and parliamentarians.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, confident and dynamic and wanting to make a significant and meaningful change in career aspirations.
