An established mid-sized consultancy is looking for an experienced public affairs Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to join their local engagement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable communications agency specialising in advocacy, reputation and stakeholder engagement. Due to the success of winning new accounts with companies specialising in driverless cars, development and energy, my client is making this key hire.
The ideal candidate will have previous agency experience, a proven track record of key stakeholder engagement and a strong understanding of the community engagement process. Together with excellent client handling, account and line management experience.
Key Requirements:
- A demonstrable track record in public affairs, specifically in local government engagement and processes;
- Line management and excellent client handling experience;
- Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the planning process and property sector;
- Previous experience of running events, community consultation work, writing press releases and working within a team;
- Able to identify leads and new business opportunities.
