Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
About the role
The role will lead national campaigns that drive changes to the health and care system in order to improve the lives of people with dementia. This role will achieve this through leading a cross-organisational effort to galvanize campaign supporters into action, both online and offline, so together we can move dementia up the political and public policy agenda.
This role will lead the Campaigns team in England and report into the Head Public Affairs and Campaigns and form a critical part of this wider team.
You will have a strong background in delivering integrated campaigns and experience managing a team. You will have developed and delivered compelling digital campaigns to recruit and retain supporters, using a wide range of social media.
You will have experience and understanding of supporter data analysis to shape campaigns and grow our campaigner base. You will ensure that all campaigns are compliant with new GDPR data protection laws and have experience managing data effectively.
You will have knowledge of the public and political landscape and empathy for the rights and aspirations of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
If you have this experience and expertise, and a belief that we can make a real and lasting change for everyone affected by dementia, then we’d love to hear from you.
Our employees work hard every day to make a true difference in people's lives. We are proud to support them with a range of benefits, recognition and many options for working agilely. All contributing to a strong work life balance.
Each role has its unique learning pathway helping our people to develop their skills and engage with the wider development opportunities and build their expertise regardless to help them grow and realise their potential to shape a career with Alzheimer's Society.
