Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

About the role

The role will lead national campaigns that drive changes to the health and care system in order to improve the lives of people with dementia. This role will achieve this through leading a cross-organisational effort to galvanize campaign supporters into action, both online and offline, so together we can move dementia up the political and public policy agenda.

This role will lead the Campaigns team in England and report into the Head Public Affairs and Campaigns and form a critical part of this wider team.

About you

You will have a strong background in delivering integrated campaigns and experience managing a team. You will have developed and delivered compelling digital campaigns to recruit and retain supporters, using a wide range of social media.

You will have experience and understanding of supporter data analysis to shape campaigns and grow our campaigner base. You will ensure that all campaigns are compliant with new GDPR data protection laws and have experience managing data effectively.

You will have knowledge of the public and political landscape and empathy for the rights and aspirations of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
