Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

We are looking to find a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our London office in the key role of External Affairs Manager. During a period of change and transition for the farming sector and our members, this person will be responsible for helping to create, deliver and manage our external affairs strategy, building collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders and raising the NFU’s campaigning and lobbying profile.

About you

You will have an excellent understanding of the parliamentary process and proven lobbying and campaigning experience. You will also have excellent communication, presentation, media and interpersonal skills.

About the role

As the NFU’s External Affairs Manager you will lead on campaigning activities and deliver a full calendar of activity within Westminster to ensure that the NFU’s campaign and lobbying priorities are delivered effectively and collaboratively.
