My client is a key player within the European transport arena, operating within four continents. Due to an internal promotion the opportunity has arisen for a Head of Communications to join the UK business with the remit to drive forward all communications activity, with a particular emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
Whilst not limited to, key responsibilities will include:
- Managing relationships with all external stakeholders, raising the profile of the organisation in the UK;
- Actively develop good relationships with (but not limited to) stakeholders which will include Westminster, Whitehall, relevant member/passenger and business groups;
- Develop and deliver an engagement programme that represents the organisation in a positive light and enhances its UK reputation and image;
- Manage relationships with the media and retained agencies;
- Transport/Infrastructure experience is essential.
