The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

My client is a key player within the European transport arena, operating within four continents. Due to an internal promotion the opportunity has arisen for a Head of Communications to join the UK business with the remit to drive forward all communications activity, with a particular emphasis on stakeholder engagement.

Whilst not limited to, key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with all external stakeholders, raising the profile of the organisation in the UK;
  • Actively develop good relationships with (but not limited to) stakeholders which will include Westminster, Whitehall, relevant member/passenger and business groups;
  • Develop and deliver an engagement programme that represents the organisation in a positive light and enhances its UK reputation and image;
  • Manage relationships with the media and retained agencies;
  • Transport/Infrastructure experience is essential.
