I am currently recruiting a Head of Corporate Social Responsibility with a financial services institution in London. You will:
- Translate the CSR strategy into measurable objectives and implement a global CSR program across the Group;
- Challenge, support and influence the business to engage with the CSR agenda, and assist the Group Executive in acting as champions and advocates for CSR;
- Establish a global strategy to engage employees and grow volunteering across the business;
- Establish and develop relationships with our charity partners in the community, working with them to select the most relevant projects for to be involved with;
- Act as central liaison for all CSR and Corporate / Employee-giving activities across the globe;
- Work with Group Marketing to deliver external and internal communications campaigns, promoting the Group’s CSR initiatives;
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on CSR initiatives, including progress against objectives, budget, employee engagement, environmental / community impact;
- Author annual Corporate Social Responsibility report, as well as provide regular reporting to senior management on progress against objectives.
Attributes, Skills and Experience
- Passionate about the role CSR can play in the development of a successful business, and the drive to make a difference;
- In depth knowledge of the CSR / Corporate Citizenship field, ideally gained through experience in a similar role and engagement in partnerships between the business and non-profit, voluntary and charitable sectors;
- Knowledge of Financial or professional Services sector;
- A proven track record in planning and managing projects end-to-end with minimal day to day supervision;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, and generate and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to create short and long form content and partner with marketing and communications teams on campaigns;
- Resourcefulness and tenacity, ability and willingness to progress with ambiguity.
